| We have released version 1.0.3 of the Ockham registry. This is a bugfix release - it resolves an issue with deleted records not propogating properly throughout the network. As usual, all nodes should upgrade to the latest release. |

| Version 0.8 of the Ockham DLSR has been released. This release provides a new user interface, fail-over p2p networking, and a more robust architecture. This is a required upgrade for all Ockham registry nodes. |

| MyLibrary@Ockham is more or less (mostly more) being called version 1.0. This index of OAI repositories makes it easier to "find more like this one" by providing spell checking funcationaltiy, thesarus enhancements, and statistically computed sets of key words all hotlinked to similar records. | Ockham Alert has been running smoothly for about two month getting updated on a daily basis. This sort of current awareness application monitors a particular OAI Data repository and returns your search resutls as HTML, RSS, or email messages. Try: http://alert.ockham.org/. |

| Try an (tiny) index to library science materials: http://mylibrary.ockham.org/cgi-bin/library-science.cgi This index was created by harvesting OAI content into a MyLibrary system, and indexing the content using swish-e. This concept will be expanded to include multiple subject indexes, format indexes, and maybe even auidence indexes. This can be an alternative to federated searching; this can be meta-searching. |
